O2 Academy venues

 

THE PROJECT

In 2009 the Academy Music Group with Sponsorship by O2 took over the former Carling academies, invested and created icon music and dance venues across the UK.

O2 Academy Venues attract over 3.5 million customers per annum. Currently there are 15 sites, including South London’s award winning concert venue, O2 Academy Brixton and O2 Shepherd’s Bush Empire, and hosted some 4,000 events across its venue estate in 2011.

We were brought on board to enhance customer experience and create an ever lasting pre, during and post gig experience. Developing O2’s position as the number 1 brand associated with music, we integrated Sponsorship into all communication channels. Using the venues, Facebook, Twitter and Youtube; we have delivered engagement for fans and bands to build communities. Venue interior with bespoke music furniture like flight case seating, amp walls and guitar chandeliers were just the first of many touches.
